It’s been a while since we had visited Disneyland and we wanted to head there before the crowds descended for the 60th festivities. The 60th bunting is up all over Main Street and the Castle blinging looks to be complete. As Peter Pan and Matterhorn continue on their 60th plussing, the Haunted Mansion had opened its doors to Disneyland guests. Inside the Hatbox Ghost has returned to the Mansion and the FastPass machines were out for the expected crowds. Sadly, Disneyland had a 700 close (for Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever rehearsals) so we didn’t stay long after dinner. Disneyland is looking prettier than ever and we definitely can’t wait until all the festivities and attractions are running on all cylinders!
Main St. is looking festive
Harold getting upgrades and projections added
Then there’s Tomorrowland
Buzz went renegade with its paint
No rides on Buzz today.
Space Mountain got a scrub down and Tomorrowland preview is open
Innoventions still closed but it got these fancy Tomorrowland work walls
Love these little turrets
I think it looks better than the 50th and all that faux gold
This opened. FP machines, obnoxious APs and all.
I dont get the uproar
The Columbia is only running today as the Mark Twain sat in dock.
I too shall give my wife one of these
Pulled Pork Sandwich from River Belle
Adventureland not too crowded
just me, a book and a view
You’d never guess this is urban orange county with this kind of view
